Jr. Research Fellow in Cancer Biology | DBT-JRF @ Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata

What hue did my spirit bleed into the night, Was it dawn’s first promise or a lantern’s quiet ache!

How did my glow wander, shaping silence, And in whose gaze did it find its gentle reflection?

Receptor Biology and Tumor Metastasis Lab People on Teachers Day Celebration
ps: I'm too much lazy to update things on my website; pls look into linkedin and Bulleteen sites for updates, and thanks for visiting; have a very nice day doing science!

Update:
I'm excited to share a few milestones on my scientific journey!

July, 2025
I have completed my Masters in Biotechnology from SBT, BHU, and have since embarked further—now pursuing my PhD in the Receptor Biology and Tumor Metastasis Lab at Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI), Kolkata. I’m honored to work as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the guidance of Dr. Dona Sinha, Senior Scientific Officer (Assistant Director Grade) and Head of the Department.

ps: I'm very very happy as I've joined in a slow-paced learning phase program revolving around some great scientific study here in kolkata, near my hometown. Also, I'm lucky to have some of the greeeeeat seniors(lab-mates), making a wonderful lab environment!
Also, I want to mention, that I'm being grateful to Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, for sponsoring my masters course at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi via scholarship, and here in Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata for Funding my Research Journey via timely fellowship salary.

Recently, I’ve also joined The Bulleteen, a STEM science journal, as a campaigning writer.

Update: I have completed my Masters in Biotechnology from SBT, BHU!
Somewhere between the hum of a laboratory and the quiet hum of a camera shutter, a journey unfolds. It’s one of curiosity, persistence, and an ever-growing fascination with the unseen—molecules shaping life, proteins orchestrating disease, and pathways whispering secrets of survival.
From the first encounter with a cell under a microscope to deciphering the intricate dance of viral oncoproteins, each step has been a lesson, each experiment a story. Some failed, some surprised, but all left behind something invaluable—an insight, a method, a question worth chasing.
The world of structural biology, bioinformatics, and cancer research isn’t just a field of study; it’s a puzzle waiting to be pieced together. One discovery leads to another, and before long, the complexity becomes an invitation rather than an obstacle.
Beyond the lab, there’s the solace of music, the charm of old streets, and the warmth of a four-legged companion who’s fought his own battles. Sunday afternoons bring new flavors, new places, and the reminder that exploration isn’t just about research—it’s a way of life.
There’s still much to learn, much to uncover. But perhaps that’s the best part—knowing that the story is still being written, one experiment, one journey, one quiet moment at a time.
